Sweet Potato Bread Pudding is the Reward!

Sweet Potato Bread Pudding

http://greers.com/recipe/sweet-potato-bread-pudding-vanilla-cream-sauce/

Mmmm!  Delicious bread pudding.  I made some this evening and it's a winner!!  I was considering going out for dessert.  You know, to someplace like The Cheesecake Factory.  But then with all of these sweet potatoes that are still in my pantry, I decided that a homemade treat was in order.

I found this recipe on greers.com.  I doubled it so that I could make one for my cousin.  I hope she loves it.  I had a tiny bit and it was so sweet and tender.  Hubby had a piece and he loved it.  So, Winner!

I enjoy taking on new challenges every month.  One blog that I follow, Black Women Losing Weight, issued a challenge for November.  No Junk Food November.  Thanksgiving was tough because of the dessert table.  I was sweating!  I forgot myself and had a skinny slice of pound cake.  I promise.  It wasn't a wedge... very skinny slice.  Well, I ate it.  During the month, I also had two bags of chips and a bowl of ice cream.  I think that I did pretty well, not perfect, but nobody's perfect.

As a reward to myself, I'm having a lovely piece of sweet potato bread pudding at midnight.

Then on to the next challenge.  Blogging more regularly and a fitness challenge for December.  I'll share a link to the blog and the challenge for December.
